Spartan Race is coming to Kyushu for the first time!
The event is confirmed for December 19, 2026, at "Kurasasu Dome Oita" in Oita City, Oita Prefecture!

This is your first and last chance to experience a STADION race in 2026!

With a capacity of 40,000, Kurasasu Dome Oita is a multi-purpose stadium—suitable for sports such as soccer and rugby—that serves as the centerpiece of Oita Sports Park. It has previously hosted major events, including matches for the 2019 Rugby World Cup and the 2002 FIFA World Cup. Now, the Spartan Race will take place at this venue that has hosted such world-class sporting spectacles. The stadium's exterior features a spherical design; because the sphere appears to touch the ground, it harmonizes with the surrounding mountain ranges and blends seamlessly into the natural landscape when viewed from a distance.

To reach the venue, take a bus from the stop located a 5-minute walk from Oita Station (Funai Chuo Exit/North Exit); board at bus stop No. 3 or No. 6 and get off at "Oita Sports Park East" (Oita Sports Koen Higashi). From there, it is a 5-minute walk to the venue.
It is also within a 30-minute taxi ride from Oita Station.
